Fall Kickoff 2016

Fall Kickoff 2016

Tuesday night was our first Overflow service of the semester and we are glad to be back! Our pastor, Clay Everett, gave us a challenging message to begin this year on the right foot: “Let’s see what God will do when we become a ministry, a community, a family that initiates, invites, and invests in the lives of others!”

Worship Night 2016

Worship Night 2016

For the final Tuesday of the 2016 Spring semester, Overflow took an entire night – in the middle of exam week – to simply worship God together. And we didn’t just sing… we celebrated. We celebrated who God is, and all that God has done in Overflow and in the lives of so many students this semester! It was a great way to end the year!

Love Part 3

“Love Takes What It Takes” – Stuart Hall

It’s funny how unique we think things are for us. The more freedom we gain, the more we think that what has always been true will be different for us! But the reality is there is “nothing new under the sun.” A new level of love takes what a new level of love takes….and it takes you loving God with all you have and loving people as yourself, which ultimately changes your life!

Love Part 2

“Love Because God Loves” – Stuart Hall

From the beginning God has called us to love each other. Jesus took loving others to a whole new level. But first and foremost we are called to love God! To love him with all that we have. And the amazing thing is that the more we love God, the more we are able to love others. Because God is love and because God loves you!

“A New Level Of Love”

“A New Level Of Love” – Joey Todd

God made all of us beautifully unique and different. From the beginning God has called us to love each other. Truthfully it can be pretty easy to love people who are just like us, but people who are different… maybe not so much. Then Jesus came on the scene and He took love to a whole new level. And not only did He show us how to love others, but He commanded us to love just like He did!

“Sexuality”- Week 3

Sexuality: “The Hope of Something Better” – Clay Everett

We are constantly bombarded with the ideas our culture wants us to believe about sexuality. But what if our culture has it wrong? What if there is a deeper understanding for sexuality that God wants us to grasp? In this series we want to begin telling a different story than our culture. So that you might find hope in God’s ability to redeem your past, freedom from present struggles, and a greater vision for your future!

“Have Heart”- Week 4

Have Heart: “A Heart of Fear” – JJ Clark

Your heart represents the core of who you are. It’s the place where you connect with God and deeply with others. The problem is that your heart is under constant attack. As followers of Jesus we are encouraged to, called to, even urged to guard our hearts. Why? Because when we allow our hearts to be captured by things other than God, all of our life will be captured too! This is no easy battle so it requires us to have heart!

“Have Heart”- Week 3
