        This week at Overflow we were reminded that there is a big difference between showing up to something and being invited into something. An invitation is powerful because an invitation says I see, I value you, I love you. Jesus used the invitation to change the lives of some of the most un-expecting people around him. There is power in invitation. The question is who are you inviting in?
